1/2 C. unsalted butter
1 C. sugar
2 Eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1 1/2 tsp. lavender flowers
1 1/2 C. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together. Beat in eggs and vanilla, almond extract and lavender flowers.
Sift flour and baking powder together and add to butter mixture. Stir until blended. Drop teaspoons of batter onto un greased cookie sheet and bake at 375º for 8 minutes.

I got this recipe from a fellow naturalist at Oxley Nature Center. We both volunteered there and I love Lavender. You can also make a lemonade from lavender. Boil 3 TBSP. lavender in 2 C. water. Cool and pour through strainer. add water to 1 quart lemonade.
