½ cup butter
2 cups of brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs
1 ½ cups of flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
cooking spray

Directions:
Directions:
1. Melt butter in sauce pan and remove from heat. Stir in brown sugar and cool. Beat in eggs one at a time.
2. In a separate bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder and salt.
3. Add butter mixture to dry ingredients and add vanilla and nuts. Mix well until smooth.
4. Grease 9 x 13 pan with cooking spray. Pour mixture into pan. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes. Do not over bake. Cut into bars while warm.
