2 cakes compressed yeast
2 tbsp sugar
3 eggs
1/2 c sugar
1 tsp salt
1/3 c shortening
1 c milk
4 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Crumble yeast cakes and stir with sugar until liquid. Set aside. Beat eggs with sugar. Add yeast mix, salt, and shortening. Alternately beat in milk and flour. Cover and set aside to raise. Stir down and put in refrigerator to chill. When ready to use, knead down and divide into 2 parts. Roll each part like a pie crust, brush with melted butter and cut into 16 wedges like a pie. Roll from large edge in to small edge. Place on greased cookie sheet. Let rise. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
