1 1/2 c brown sugar
3/4 c sugar
1 c shortening
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
3/4 c milk
4 c quick cooking rolled oats
1 12 oz pkg semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugars with shortening until ligh and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, soda, salt and cinnamon. Add to created mixture along with milk. Stir in oats and chocolate pieces. Spread batter in greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes. While warm cut into 2x1 in bars.
