1 lb. boneless chicken breast, cut into 1” pieces
1/4 lb. mild Italian sausage
1 can diced tomatoes
3/4 cup uncooked converted rice (do not use instant)
1/2 cup water
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
1 tsp. chicken bouillon granules
1/2 tsp. Italian Seasoning
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/3 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 cup flour

Spray crock pot with non-stick spray. Brown sausage in skillet and put in crock pot. Mix chicken pieces with flour, salt and pepper. (I shake it together in a plastic bag) and brown in sausage drippings. Add chicken to crock pot. Add onion and green pepper. Place the rest of the ingredients in skillet and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add to crock pot and stir. Cook on low for 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
