Crust: 1/4 cup butter
scant 3/4 cup flour

Filling: 1 egg, beaten
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 T flour
1/8 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla

Frosting: brown sugar
cream
XXX sugar

Directions:
Crust: Cream butter and flour. When smooth, pat in 8x8 pan. Bake 12-15 min.

Filling: Mix all filling and pour over baked crust. Bake 15-20 min. at 350º.

Frosting: Brown sugar, little cream -- may heat. Blend in XXX sugar to spreading consistency.
