1 large can diced tomatoes
1 12 oz. can tomato paste
1 cup water
2 cloves garlic
1 cup red wine
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp basil
¼ cup parsley
1 tsp thyme
1 tbsp oregano
1 bay leaf
1 tbsp salt
Pepper

Meatballs:
1 lb. ground pork
2 eggs
1 cup bread crumbs
½ cup Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp oregano
1 tbsp parsley
Salt & pepper

Directions:
Directions:
For sauce: Saute onions and garlic in olive oil. Stir in rest of ingredients and simmer at least three hours.

With Meat Sauce: Brown 1 to 1½ lbs. ground pork with onions and garlic before adding rest of ingredients.

For meatballs: Mix all ingredients and roll into balls about the size of ping pong balls.

Simmer in sauce at least 2 hours.
