Cake: 1 stick butter 2 eggs
1/2 cup vegtable oil 1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup water 1 teaspoon cinnamon
4 Tablespoons Cocoa 1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups All purpose flour 1/2 cup buttermilk * see note

Icing: 1 stick butter 1 teaspoon vanilla
6 Tablespoons Milk 1 box powdered sugar or
4 Tablespoons cocoa 3 1/2 cups of powdered sugar.
1 cup chopped pecans (opt)

Cake: Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking soda, and set
aside.

In a saucepan, bring butter, vegtable oil, water and cocoa to a simmer, or until
butter has melted. Pour over flour/sugar mixture mixing well. Now stir in
eggs, buttermilk and vanilla. mixing well. Pour into a sprayed and floured sheet
baking pan.I use a 15 1/2 x 11 1/2 sheet pan Bake for 20 mins or until toothpick
inserted comes out clean.

Icing: In a saucepan, bring butter, milk, and cocoa to a simmer, until butter has melted.
Remove from heat and add vanilla and powdered sugar stirring until all has
mixed well. Add pecans if using, and then spread over warm cake. Thats it!

* If you do not have buttermilk, you can use whole milk with 1 tablespoon of vinegar.

This cake is very good without the pecans, if you choose not to add them.
