2 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups cream and milk
15 medium apples
2/3 cup white karo syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Put sugar, 13/ liquid and syrup into smooth sauce pan, boil until soft ball stage, add second 1/3 liquid and repeat, add last 1/3 liquid, boil until hard ball, add vanilla, prepare apples by wiping them thoroughly and putting skewers into one end, when syrup is ready dip apples in, hold over syrup to drain off a little. Stand on greased tin to harden, keep syrup over very low flame or in double boiler.
