1 quart green tomatoes, sliced very fine
2 quarts cabbage, sliced very fine
1/2 cup salt
3 red peppers, sliced fine
1 green pepper, sliced fine
6 onions, sliced fine


3 cups vinegar
3 cups sugar
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoon celery seed
2 teaspoon mustard seed
1 teaspoon whole allspice

Directions:
Directions:
Cover the green tomatoes and cabbage with 1/2 cup salt and water, let stand overnight. Drain and add peppers and onions. Mix well. Heat to boiling vinegar, sugar, 2 teaspoons salt, celery seed, mustard seed and whole allspice. Pour boiling mixture over raw vegetables and mix well. Pour liquid off and heat liquid to boiling again. Pour over vegetables again. Then pack in jars and seal. No cooking required.
