Shrimp and grits Recipe

Ingredients:

3 cups water
1 cup stone ground grits
1 1/2 cups of half & half
1 lb of peeled shrimp
Handful of finely chopped tomatoes and onions
1/2 cup white wine
Salt
Butter
You could add 2cups of cheddar cheese
And bacon

Directions:
Directions:
Cook grits until water is absorbed (20-25 mins)
Add half and half and wine cook some more
Remove from heat add cheese and butter

Rinse shrimp and pay dry. Fry bacon, drain well. In grease add shrimp, cook until pink (add a little lemon juice 4 tsp). Throw in chopped bacon, tomatoes, onion. Sauté fir a few mins.
Spoon grits into bowl. Top with shrimp mixture.
