1/2 butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
2 cups flour, sifted (this is an old recipe, so sifting is required)
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen (If frozen toss with 1 tablespoon flour)

1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped & toasted (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9" square pan with foil, spray with non-stick spray.

2. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg, beat until emulsified. Reduce mixing speed to low, add the salt and baking powder to incorporate. Slow add flour alternating with milk. Remove bowl from mixer and fold in the blueberries then pour batter into prepared pan.

3. For the Streusel Topping; combine all the ingredients in a small bowl, with your hands work butter into the mixture. Sprinkle over batter. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
