1 c. flour
1 c. quick cooking oatmeal
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 t. baking powder
3/4 t. baking soda
1 beaten egg
3/4 c. milk
1/3 c. cooking oil
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
"cinnamon sugar"

In mixing bowl combine flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, baking powder and soda. In small bowl combine egg, milk and oil. Add egg mixture to the flour mixture, stirring until just moistened. Stir in walnuts.
Grease muffin pans or line with paper cups. Fill 2/3 full with batter. sprinkle tops with cinnamon sugar.
Bake in 375 oven for 18-20 minutes.
