1 pound ground beef
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon carraway
12 large cabbage leaves (1 cabbage)
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1 large onion (1/2 diced, 1/2 sliced thin)

1 large can tomatoes (12 ounce)
chopped cabbage stems
3 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons vinegar
1/4 cup kethcup
1/4 teaspoon Rosemary & Oregano

Directions:
Directions:
Mix beef, egg, spices, bread crumbs and diced onion together until well blended. Put cabbage leaves in boiling water (salted) until limp (about 4 minutes). Put meat on cabbage near stem end and roll. Put in baking dish. Pour tomato sauce over rolls. Cover with foil. Bake 375 degrees - 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving

Tomato sauce = mash tomatoes with wooden spoon, chop cabbage stems - add to tomatoes with remaining onion. Add brown sugar, vinegar, ketchup and rosemary/oregano. Simmer uncovered until liquid is reduced to about 2 cups.
