2 c. raisins
1 c. water
1 c. vegetable oil
1½ c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
3 to 3 ½ c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Boil raisins in water until water is gone. Set aside. Beat together oil and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, soda, and salt. Mix well. Form into balls, and roll balls in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 350º for 15 minutes.

You can use 1½ c. dark seedless raisins and ½ c. golden raisins.
