1 C. margarine or butter, softened
1 C. shortening
2 C. sugar (can substitute 1 cup of honey for 1 cup of white sugar)
2 C. brown sugar
4 eggs
4 C. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
4 C. oats
Directions:
Directions:
Mix together the dry ingredients except for the oats and set aside. Cream together the butter, shortening, and sugars until fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add dry ingredients and mix well.
Stir in oats.

Bake @350 º for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
