½ c. butter
2 onions, sliced
5 cloves garlic, minced
½ c. chopped parsley
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. basil
3 cans whole baby clams
salt & pepper to taste

In a skillet, melt butter, sauté sliced onions until tender with minced garlic, parsley, salt, basil, and pepper. Add clams with juice. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 30 minutes. Serve over linguini.
