3 egg whites
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 lb (3/4 c) unbalanced almonds
1 bar (4 oz) German sweet chocolate, grated not ground

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites with salt to firm moist peaks. Add sugar slowly, beating constantly. After adding last of sugar, beat another 2 min. Fold in grated chocolate and almonds. Drop by tsps onto a well greased cooky sheet. Bake at 275 fr 35- 40 minutes, or until dry, so they can be easily removed from sheet.
