Ingredients: 3 cups flour 1 tsp baking powder ¼ tsp salt 1¼ cup sugar 1 cup shortening 3 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp nutmeg
Tools --plastic wrap to tightly wrap dough (to chill it)
**after dough is chilled, the following** --large counter surface with waxed paper, greased & floured --rolling pin --cookie cutters

Directions: |
Directions:Mix dry ingredients and shortening.
Add unbeaten eggs and flavorings. Mix well.
Let stand several hours or overnight in refrigerator until well chilled.
Preheat oven to 375º.
Roll dough very thin and cut with cookie cutters into shapes.
Bake for 8 minutes. |
