2 cloves garlic minced
2 T olive oil
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp black ground pepper
3-4 carrots sliced into rings
3-4 red potatoes diced
1 # dried split green peas
8 C chicken broth
1# diced ham

Place all ingrediants in a pressure cooker. Cook for 20 minutes at pressure. Let cool under pressure about another 20 minutes. Don’t overcook and watch because release valve can get clogged.

We use a pressure cooker because of elevation. At 9,000’ the centers are crunchy after days of cooking. At sea level 1 1/2 hours on the stove top stirring occasionally is fine.
