1 c butter
1/4 c plus 1 tbsp dark brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 c ground almonds
1 tsp salt
1/4 c cornstarch
3/4 c icing sugar
1/2 c mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Cream the butter and brown sugar. Add vanilla.
Sift together flour, salt, cornstarch, and icing sugar. Stir in ground almonds.
Add to creamed butter and sugar in 3 additions, mixing until fully incorporated each time. Stir in chocolate chips.
Press into a greased 7"x11" pan and bake for 20 minutes. Cut into triangles once cooled.
Optional: drizzle with chocolate ganache and sprinkle with mini chocolate chips.
