1 c. white Karo syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Put onto boil, then add 2 c. sugar. Let this boil until it strings a good thread (230) then add 1/2 cube butter and 2 c. raw peanuts. Continue cooking and stirring until it cracks (300) and peanuts will be light golden brown. Add vanilla and scant 3 t. soda. Stir completely and pour out on buttered cookie sheet. Do not scrape out pan or it may go flat.
