2⅓ c. flour
2½ t. baking powder
½ t. salt
1¼ c. granulated sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. (2 sticks) butter
3 lg. eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, baking powder and salt, set aside.
Melt butter, stir in sugars and mix well until dissolved. Remove pan from heat and let cool at least 5 minutes.
With a mixer, beat eggs and vanilla on low. Slowly add butter mixture, and beat on medium until smooth.
With a spatula, fold in flour mixture until just barely combined. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
Spread batter in 9x13 pan.
Bake 35-40 minutes.Bars are done when lightly browned on top. They may seem slightly underdone, but will harden.
