1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. shortening
3 eggs
1 t. salt
4 1/2 c. flour
2 t. soda
1 c. nuts
1 t. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Put sugar in bowl, add soda, mix well. Add shortening and eggs, beating well. Then add salt, flour, vanilla, and nuts. Chill. Divide into 4 rolls. Put in refrigerator. Slice and bake at 350°as needed. They will stay soft, but they will be done when they are brown.
