10 tbsp (142 gm) unsalted butter at room temperature.
1/2 cut confectioners sugar.
1/2 tsp vanilla extra.
1 1/2 cups (180 gm) all-purpose flour.
1/2 tsp sea salt.

Directions:

1) Mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, beat butter and vanilla extract until creamed.
2) add confectioners sugar and salt; mix until combined.
3) sape bowl and add flour while beating on low. Scape bowl once more and mix until combined.
4) Shape dough into a rectangular prism, wrap in plastic and chill until firm for 1 hour.
5) Preheat own 350 F (177 C), Use sharpe knife to cut 1/2 inch thick slices.`
6) Place slices spaced apart about 1 inch on a baking sheet lines with parchment paper.
7) use a fork to indent a pattern onto the top.
8) Bake for 10 minutes, rotacking baking sheet in the oven halfway.
9) Transfer to wire sheet to cool.
