1 1/4 sticks butter plus more for pan
5 1/2 cups salted mini pretzel twists
1/4 c. sugar
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
1 1/3 c. lightly salted peanuts
6 oz. chocolate chips (dark or milk)

Butter a 9X13 inch baking pan and line with parchment, leaving a 1 inch overhang on long sides. Butter parchment. Place 4 1/2 c. pretzels in food processor and pulse until texture resembles coarse cornmeal. Pour into bowl. Stir in sugar and melted butter. Spread evenly in baking pan and pack down. Drizzle milk evenly over crust. Sprinkle with peanuts and choc. chips and remaining 1 cup pretzels. Gently press into milk. Bake until chocolate melts and condensed milk bubbles and becomes golden (20 to 22 minutes at 350 degrees). Cool completely, then refrigerate for about 30 minutes and choc is set. Using overhanging paper, transfer to cutting board. Cut into 20 squares.
