2 1/4 c. Flour
1/2 tsp. Salt
3/4 tsp. Baking Soda
3/4 c. Shortening
1 c. Sugar
2 Eggs, well beaten
1 c. Mincemeat
1/2 c. Nuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together the flour, salt, and soda.

Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, and continue beating.

Add the mincemeat and nuts.

Add the flour mixture.

Drop by spoonful two (2) inches apart on a greased baking sheet.

Bake at 400ºF for twelve (12) minutes, or until done. Do not overbake.
