3 cups flour
½ tsp. salt
1¼ cups butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
⅛ cup finely chopped nuts

Directions:
Preheat oven 375ºF.
Sift together flour and salt, set aside. Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Beat well gradually add dry ingredients. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Dent center of dough and put ¼ tsp. jam in the center. Sprinkle with finely chopped nuts. Bake 10-12 minutes.
