1 C. raisins (simmer until plumped) Pour liquid into cup and save,

½ C butter ¾ C brown sugar
1 Egg
1 ½ C flour ½ tsp each cinnamon,clove & nutmet
½ tsp salt 1 tsp soda

Cream butter, sugar and egg normally. Add dry ingredients and raisin water
alternatively. Fold in raisins and nuts if desired

9X9 Pan

Bake at 375º for 45-50 minutes
