4 squares chocolate (3 tbsp cocoa and 1 tbsp oil = 1 square chocolate)
1 c margarine
4 eggs
1½ c sugar
3½ c flour
½ tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla


Directions:
Directions:
Mix chocolate and margarine. Blend in eggs, then sugar, flour, and vanilla. Bake 45-60 seconds in waffle iron by spoonful (drop a spoonful of batter in each section of the waffle iron).

Serve plain, or drizzle any flavor frosting and top with chopped nuts, sprinkles, or other cookie toppings.

This is a super fun recipe of a cake like cookie. You can go crazy with toppings, different colored frosting, chopped nuts of any kind, sprinkles, melted caramel. Cory's great grandmother made these cookies every Christmas, and now we do, too.
