Prepare Pie Crust. Let cool.
2 cups Butter
1½ cups Brown sugar
4 cups Milk
⅔ cup Flour
1 tsp Salt
4 Egg Yolks
½ tsp Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Bake at 350º
Melt butter. Add 1 cup brown sugar. Cook over low heat stirring until browned.
Add 2 2/3 cups milk. Heat over low heat. Mix Flour, salt and remaining sugar with remaining 1 1/3 cup milk. Add to hot butterscotch and milk mixture. Stir until thick. Continue cooking for 15 more minutes stirring occasionally.

Add a pat of butterscotch mixture to slightly beaten egg yolks. Blend, then add to remaining mixture. Cook 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Cool slowly. Add 1/2 tsp vanilla. Pour into baked pie crust. When cool, cover with whipped cream.
