2 lbs. lean ground beef
2 cups bread crumbs (about 4 slices)
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup minced onion
2 eggs
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together until well blended. Press firmly in ungreased loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees about 1 1/2 hours. Note: May add one or more of the following to enhance flavor: 1 garlic clove minced; 1/2 teaspoon caraway seed; 1/2 teaspoon oregano; or 1 tablespoon chili powder.
