1/2 cup margarine (1 stick)
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1.2 cup sour cream
3 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Frosting:
1/3 cup soft butter or margarine
3 cups powdered sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
3 tbsp milk
food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together butter, sugar, egg, vanilla and sour cream. Add dry ingredients. Chill for 1 hour. Roll out and cut cookies. Bake at 350º for 5-6 minutes. Do not over bake. once cooled frost.

Mix soft margarine, powdered sugar then add vanilla and milk. Can add food coloring to make different colors. So separate once all of the frosting ingredients are mixed to get different colors.
