1 cup Wesson oil
1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
3½ cups flour
1 cup corn flakes or rice crispies
1 cup oatmeal
1 tbsp. sour milk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream tartar
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla
½ cup coconut

Directions:

Mix in order. Add nuts of choice and chocolate chips to taste. Roll in balls and flatten with cup dipped in sugar.

Bake 350º until very light golden. Do NOT over bake. They get very hard.
