1 cup sugar
1 cup molasses
2 eggs
1 cup sour milk
5 -6 cups flour
1 cup shortening
4 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp salt
Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, shortening and molasses until creamy, Add dry ingredients and milk alternately. Roll into balls and flatten with glass bottom dipped in sugar.
Bake 350º for 8 - 12 minutes
