Cookie:
1 c. shortening
1/4. c. baking powder
1 c. plus 2 T. sugar
3 eggs
5 c. flour
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. orange juice
1 T. vanilla
1 T. lemon flavoring
Icing:
1 lb. confectionary sugar
Orange juice
1 T. Lemon flavor

Directions:
Directions:
Cookie: Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add milk and vanilla. Fold in flour and baking powder til it's not sticky to your fingers. Roll into balls the size of walnuts. Space about 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake on top rack at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

Icing: Add orange juice to confectionary sugar until the frosting runs off the spoon. Add 1 T. lemon flavor. Put glaze on the cookies with a pastry brush. Le the cookies stay on the rack until the glaze dries completely about 3 hours.
