1 cup butter
½ cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

2¼ cups flour
¼ tsp. salt
¾ cup finely chopped nuts (walnuts)

Additional powdered sugar for rolling the cookies in.

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º

Mix the first 3 ingredients.

Add the next 3 ingredients.

Shape into 1 inch balls and put 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake until set but not brown. (10-12 minutes)

When cooled enough to handle, roll in powdered sugar. Let cool completely and roll in powdered sugar again.
