1 cup sugar (or powdered sugar
1 cup butter
1 egg
¼ tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
½ tsp. soda
½ tsp. cream of tarter
Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, soda, and cream of tarter. Set aside

Cream together sugar, butter, butter, egg, salt, and vanilla. Gradually mix in dry ingredients.

Roll into balls, dip in sugar, and flatten.

Bake in 325º oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
