2 sticks margarine
1 c. white sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. cooking oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
4 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and margarine well; add eggs, then rest of the ingredients. Chill. Form into small balls, place on baking sheet, and press down with a flat-bottomed, sugared glass. Bake at 350° for 12 minutes, or until a very delicate brown. Yield: 8 dozen.
