1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 c. flour

Directions:
Press through gun into desired shapes. Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes. Variation: For chocolate, add 2 1/2 squares melted chocolate.
 

Frosting


Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. cream
Boil for 1 minute.
Add:
1/2 c. chocolate chips, or 1/2 c. chopped white chocolate
1 tsp. almond flavoring
OR:
1 1/2 c. sugar
6 T. milk
6 T. butter
Boil 1/2 minute.
Add:
1/2 c. chocolate chips, or 1/2 c. chopped white chocolate
1 tsp. almond flavoring

Directions:

Beat until melted. Place in cold water until set. If too hard, place in hot water. Dip cookies in frosting.
