2 c. raisins
1 c. water
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. shortening
2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. oatmeal
3 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Boil raisins and water, then cool. Add baking soda. Beat in shortening, sugar, eggs, and salt. Then add raisins. Next add vanilla, cinnamon, oatmeal, flour.
Drop onto baking sheet. Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes.
