1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
2 egg yolks (save whites)
2 c. quick or old-fashioned oats
1 1/4 c. flour
1 2/3 c. ground pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
2 egg whites
48 Hershey's Hugs or Kisses

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter and sugar; add egg yolks. Add oatmeal, flour, 2/3 cup nuts and vanilla; mix well. Beat egg whites until frothy. Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Dip 1/2 of the ball in egg whites, then press in nuts. Place on pan, nut-side up, then press thumb in center of ball. Bake 10 minutes. Put candy on cookie and bake 3 to 5 minutes longer, until light brown.
