Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 pkg. yeast, soaked in 1/4 c. warm water & 1 tsp. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. milk
4 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 lb. butter
4 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Blend together the flour and butter until the consistency of pie crust. Beat together eggs, milk, sugar, salt and yeast. Blend into flour mixture and stir until well mixed. Cover and refrigerate overnight. The next day, divide the dough into 4 equal parts. Roll out into a rectangle about the length of a cookie sheet and 6 inches wide; it will be about 1/4 inch thick. Beat an egg white and spread 1/4 of the egg white over rolled- out dough, leaving about an inch from the edge of the dough. Put filling up the center, then fold dough toward the center, lengthwise, from both sides. Overlap and pinch together down the center and ends to seal. Cover and let rise about 35 minutes. Bake at 400° for 25 minutes (you can put two on a cookie sheet). Frost when cool, with powdered sugar frosting; add sliced almonds or other nuts.
