Ingredients:  
3 c. flour
1 c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, baking soda and cream of tartar; cut butter into dry ingredients. Beat eggs. Add to sugar and combine with the dry ingredients. Add vanilla. Refrigerate 15 to 20 minutes before rolling out the dough. Bake at 375° to 400° for 8 to 10 minutes. Yield: approximately 3 dozen cookies.
