1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
2 c. flour
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugars, butter, egg and vanilla; add dry ingredients. Form into balls. Dip into cold water, then into white sugar. Place on cookie sheet, sugar-side up. Flatten with the bottom of a glass. Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes.
