1 lb. powdered sugar
½ c. shortening (Crisco)
2 T. butter
½ tsp. salt
⅓ c. milk
1-2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Combine with electric mixer. Recipe cut in half will frost 1 cake (use ~ 2½ T. milk for half). Add ⅛ c. cocoa for chocolate frosting.
