Southern Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

2 packages of yeast
1 c. butter, softened
2 eggs, beaten
1 3/4 c. sugar
4 tsp. cinnamon
2/3 c. raisins

Glaze:
1/3 c. confectioners sugar
vanilla
1/3 c. milk
Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water.

Combine dissolved yeast, milk, butter, eggs, 1/4 c. sugar,
slowly add flour, and beat until smooth. Dough will be very soft.
Refrigerate overnight, or for at least 2 hours.

Divide dough in half into a 14 x9 inch rectangle. Brush with
melted butter.

Combine sugar, cinnamon, and raisins and sprinkle over the
dough. Roll dough from the 9 inch side, as though it is a jelly
roll. Cut roll into 9 equal pieces.

Place cut side up in a greased layer pan, cover and let rise 1
hour.

Bake 350 degrees fro 30-35 minutes.

Heat milk and mix with confectioners sugar and vanilla, glaze
cinnamon rolls. Serve warm.
