¾ c. shortening (Crisco)
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
2½ c. flour
1 t. baking powder
1 t. salt
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Roll out to a ¼-inch thickness. Cut into desired-shapes and bake 8 to 10 minutes in a 350º oven or until golden in color on the bottom. Frost, if desired. We like to frost with a vanilla frosting and then decorate at Christmas time.
