Ingredients: Icing Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups of confection sugar 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla 1 teaspoon of corn syrup (this makes the icing shiny) 2 to 3 teaspoons of room temperature water till icing is the consistency you want.
Cookie ingredients:
1 1/2 cups of softened butter 2 cups of white sugar 4 eggs 1 teaspoon of vanilla 5 cups of all purpose flour 2 teaspoons of baking powder 1 teaspoon of salt

Directions:Cookie instructions 1. Cream butter and sugar until smooth. Then beat in eggs and vanilla. 2. Sift dry ingredients together and stir into wet mixture. 3. Cover and chill for at least one hour, I usually leave it overnight. 4. Heat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. 5. Roll dough on a floured surface to 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Use your preferred cutter shape and bake on an uncreased cookie sheet or with parchment paper for 6 to 8 minutes. 6. Cool then ice.
Icing instructions 1. Mix it all together and ice those cookies. |
