1 pkg (3 to 4 oz) chocolate pudding mix
1 cup milk
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tbsp dark (or) coconut flavored rum (Optional)
1 10-inch angel food cake, pre-baked, homemade
or purchased
1 1/2 cups whipping cream
2 tbsp powdered sugar, shaved chocolate for garnish

Directions:

1. Combine pudding mix with the milk. Heat to boiling, stirring, and cook until the mixture boils and is thickened. Cool slightly. Stir in the sour cream and rum.
2. Split angel food cake into 3 layers. Spread chocolate mixture between the layers, stacking layers back on top of each other again.
3. Whip the cream and add the powdered sugar to sweeten.
4. Spread over top and sides of the cake.
5. Decorate top & sides with the shaved chocolate.
6. Serve immediately, (or) cover with a dome and refrigerate up to 3 hrs. before serving. Refrigerate any left over.

This makes a beautiful special occasion cake. I place candles in fresh strawberries and place on top of the cake or around the cake dish.
